Anybody watching this years X Games? Its a good chance to see real athletes participating in a sport, not the over paid, fat, lazy slobs that are in most of the bigger sports today.

If you snowboard, what is your home resort? and where did you first learn to ride if it was a different place
My home resort is Bristol Mountain, I learned there several years ago by taking a 3 day learn to snowboard camp. Bristol is probably one of the top places to ride at in New York. Its a relatively big mountain and there's something for everybody whether you like the groomed hills, moguls or the parks. And the thing thats nice about Bristol is the owners/managers are always investing money into the mountain, each year more stuff is added and improved.
If you're thinking about a trip, I strongly recommend going to Bristol. Its not the size of resorts out west or resorts in Vermont, there are only 33 trails but like I said before its probably one of the top places in New York to board. I certainly wouldn't go anywhere else.

Just curious, how many of you are snowboarders, and where is your home resort? Also if you've been to any good areas on the east coast preferably in the Vermont/ Maine area I'm interested to hear where because I'm looking at going somewhere sometime in the near future. I was thinking Killington but if there are other good Mountains I'd like to know
